Post Spring 2020 Plan

What are you planning on doing with what you have learned this semester?

I will take this internship experience with me to the next chapter of my academic career. In being transparent, I don't know what the future hold for me. But, I know I will take away patience, remote working skills, and a newfound passion for working at international non-profits.

Create an action plan, which is a significant place for you to connect to current events, issues, or topics globally or in your local community.

I plan to work on the Student Government of Loyola Chicago and create meaningful change on Loyola's many campuses. Further, I hope to acquire a fulfilling part-time job in the upcoming months.

What transferable skills will you take with you after college?

I will take remote working skills with me. I also will take networking skills and the ability to find comfort in new and challenging spaces.

Are you planning on going to graduate/professional school in the future?

I am on a pre-law track, but with the current situation, I do not know what the future holds.

What type of employment are you seeking for employment post-graduation?

I hope to either go to law school or work for an international non-profit. I am only a sophomore, though, so this question is difficult to answer.

What further courses (if not graduating), training, internships, or certifications might you need to build your skills for the near future?

I would like to work at GirlForward before graduating. I also want to obtain more language skills, in Hebrew specifically.

What are your plans for five years down the line?

To be honest, I don't know what my plans are for 5 months from now, let alone 5 years. This pandemic has taught me that planning that far in advance can be irresponsible. I hope to find fulfillment in helping others.
